בקצרה: השירים שלכם לא עוזבים את הטלפון. אין הרשמה, ואנחנו לא אוספים מידע שמזהה אתכם. עוגיות פרסום נטענות רק אם אישרתם אותן.
השירים והקבצים שלכם
כל העיבוד, כולל פענוח השיר, זיהוי הפזמון, החיתוך והפיכה ל‑MP3, קורה בתוך הדפדפן במכשיר שלכם. הקובץ לא נשלח לשרת שלנו או לשרת של אף אחד אחר, ואנחנו לא שומרים עותק שלו.
אם תבחרו להקליט, האתר יבקש גישה למיקרופון רק כשתלחצו על כפתור ההקלטה. ההקלטה נשארת בטלפון שלכם, ולא נשלחת לשום מקום. גם צלצולים מקוריים שהאתר מלחין נוצרים בטלפון עצמו.
סטטיסטיקה אנונימית
כדי להבין איך משתמשים באתר ולשפר אותו, אנחנו משתמשים ב‑Umami, כלי סטטיסטיקה שלא משתמש בעוגיות ולא שומר כתובות IP. הוא אוסף נתונים מצטברים בלבד:
- דפים שנצפו, מאיזה אתר הגעתם, סוג מכשיר ודפדפן, ומדינה.
- פעולות באתר, כמו "נבחר שיר" או "נוצר רינגטון", יחד עם פרטים כלליים כמו אורך הרינגטון, השפה, סוג המכשיר ומערכת ההפעלה. שם השיר ותוכנו לא נשלחים.
- מאיזה קמפיין או קישור הגעתם (למשל פרמטרי utm בכתובת, או קישור "שלח לחבר"), כדי לדעת אילו פרסומים עובדים.
עוגיות פרסום (רק באישור)
כשאנחנו מפרסמים ב‑Facebook וב‑Instagram, אנחנו עשויים להשתמש ב‑Meta Pixel כדי למדוד אילו מודעות מביאות אנשים שיוצרים רינגטון. הפיקסל נטען רק אם לחצתם "אישור" בהודעה שמופיעה באתר. אם לא אישרתם, הוא לא נטען בכלל.
- מה נשלח ל‑Meta: שנכנסתם לאתר, ושלבים כלליים כמו "נוצר רינגטון" או "הורד רינגטון", עם פרטים כלליים כמו סוג הצליל ואורכו. לא שם השיר, לא הקובץ ולא שום דבר שהקלדתם.
- Meta שומרת עוגיות (כמו _fbp) ועשויה לקשר את הביקור לחשבון שלכם אצלה, לפי מדיניות הפרטיות שלה.
- אפשר לשנות את הבחירה בכל רגע דרך "הגדרות עוגיות" בתחתית העמוד הראשי.
חשבון (אופציונלי)
אפשר להשתמש ב‑SnipRing בלי חשבון. אם תבחרו להתחבר, נשמור:
- את כתובת המייל שלכם, ואם התחברתם עם Google גם את השם שמופיע בחשבון ה‑Google. לא נשמרת תמונת פרופיל.
- מתי נרשמתם ומתי התחברתם לאחרונה, ובאיזו שיטה (מייל או Google).
- רישומים טכניים של ההתחברות אצל Supabase, שעשויים לכלול כתובת IP ופרטי דפדפן, לצורך אבטחה.
כרגע החשבון לא שומר צלילים או קבצים. הצלילים שיצרתם נשארים במכשיר שלכם בלבד.
ספקים שמעורבים בהתחברות: Supabase (ניהול החשבונות), Google (רק אם בחרתם להתחבר איתו), Resend (שליחת קוד ההתחברות למייל) ו‑Cloudflare Turnstile (בדיקה שאתם לא בוט). פרטי ההתחברות נשמרים בדפדפן שלכם כדי שתישארו מחוברים, ונמחקים כשאתם מתנתקים.
מה נשמר במכשיר שלכם
האתר שומר בדפדפן העדפות קטנות: השפה שבחרתם, הגדרות הנגישות, שם המתקשר שהקלדתם בתצוגת השיחה הנכנסת, סוג המכשיר שבחרתם (אייפון או אנדרואיד), האם סגרתם את ההודעה על הוספה למסך הבית, הבחירה שלכם לגבי עוגיות פרסום, ומאיזה קמפיין הגעתם בפעם הראשונה ובפעם האחרונה. בנוסף, הרינגטונים שיצרתם (30 האחרונים, ומועדפים תמיד) נשמרים ב"הצלילים שלי" כדי שתוכלו להשתמש בהם שוב. פרויקטים של סטודיו הצליל, כולל הצלילים שהוספתם אליהם, נשמרים גם הם במכשיר. כל אלה נשארים רק במכשיר שלכם ולא נשלחים אלינו. אפשר למחוק רינגטון בכפתור "מחק", או למחוק הכול דרך ניקוי נתוני האתר בהגדרות הדפדפן.
כדי שהאתר יעבוד גם בלי אינטרנט, הדפדפן שומר עותק של קבצי האתר עצמו (דפים, גופנים וספריית הקידוד). העותק הזה לא כולל שום דבר שלכם.
שירותים חיצוניים
כמו כל אתר, הטעינה עוברת דרך כמה ספקים, שעשויים לראות את כתובת ה‑IP שלכם ברישומים הטכניים שלהם:
- GitHub Pages: אחסון האתר.
- Cloudflare: ניהול הדומיין (DNS).
- Umami: הסטטיסטיקה האנונימית שתוארה למעלה.
- Supabase: מאחסן את ספריית הצלילים ומונה כמה פעמים כל צליל הושמע או נבחר. לא נשמר שום מידע עליכם.
- Meta: רק אם אישרתם עוגיות פרסום, כמו שתואר למעלה.
הגופנים וספריית הקידוד ל‑MP3 נטענים מהשרת של SnipRing עצמו, ולא משירותים חיצוניים.
ילדים
האתר לא אוסף מידע אישי מאף משתמש, כולל קטינים.
שינויים
אם המדיניות תשתנה, למשל כשיתווספו חשבונות משתמש, נעדכן את הדף הזה ואת תאריך העדכון למעלה.

Privacy Policy

In short: your songs never leave your phone. No sign-up, and we don't collect anything that identifies you. Ad cookies load only if you agree to them.
Your songs and files
All processing happens inside your browser on your device: decoding the song, finding the chorus, trimming it and converting it to MP3. Your file is never sent to our servers or anyone else's, and we never keep a copy.
If you choose to record, the site asks for microphone access only when you tap the record button. The recording stays on your phone and is never uploaded. Original tunes the site composes are also created on your phone.
Anonymous statistics
To understand how the site is used and improve it, we use Umami, an analytics tool that uses no cookies and doesn't store IP addresses. It collects aggregate data only:
- Pages viewed, the site you came from, device and browser type, and country.
- Actions on the site, such as "song loaded" or "ringtone created", with general details like ringtone length, language, device type and operating system. Song names and content are never sent.
- Which campaign or link brought you here (for example utm parameters in the address, or a "Send to a friend" link), so we know which promotions work.
Ad cookies (only with your consent)
When we advertise on Facebook and Instagram, we may use the Meta Pixel to measure which ads bring people who create a ringtone. The pixel loads only if you tap "Accept" in the notice shown on the site. If you don't, it never loads.
- What is sent to Meta: that you visited, and general steps such as "ringtone created" or "ringtone downloaded", with general details like the sound type and length. Never the song name, the file, or anything you typed.
- Meta sets cookies (such as _fbp) and may link the visit to your Meta account, under its own privacy policy.
- You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the main page.
Account (optional)
You can use SnipRing without an account. If you choose to sign in, we store:
- Your email address, and if you sign in with Google, the name on your Google account. No profile picture is stored.
- When you signed up and last signed in, and which method you used (email or Google).
- Technical sign-in logs kept by Supabase for security, which may include your IP address and browser details.
For now the account does not store sounds or files. The sounds you create stay on your device only.
Providers involved in signing in: Supabase (account management), Google (only if you choose to sign in with it), Resend (emailing your sign-in code) and Cloudflare Turnstile (checking you are not a bot). Your sign-in details are kept in your browser so you stay signed in, and are removed when you sign out.
What's stored on your device
The site saves small preferences in your browser: your chosen language, your accessibility settings, the caller name you typed in the incoming-call preview, the device you chose (iPhone or Android), whether you closed the Add to Home Screen tip, your ad-cookie choice, and which campaign first and most recently brought you here. It also keeps the ringtones you create (the latest 30, and favourites always) in "My sounds" so you can use them again. Sound Studio projects, including the sounds you added to them, are saved on your device too. All of this stays on your device only and is never sent to us. You can delete a ringtone with its Delete button, or remove everything by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
So the site works without internet, your browser keeps a copy of the site's own files (pages, fonts and the encoding library). That copy contains nothing of yours.
Third-party services
Like any website, loading the page goes through a few providers, which may see your IP address in their technical logs:
- GitHub Pages: hosts the site.
- Cloudflare: manages the domain (DNS).
- Umami: the anonymous statistics described above.
- Supabase: hosts the sound library and counts how many times each sound was played or used. Nothing about you is stored.
- Meta: only if you accepted ad cookies, as described above.
Fonts and the MP3 encoding library are served from SnipRing's own server, not from third-party services.
Children
The site doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including minors.
Changes
If this policy changes, for example when user accounts are added, we'll update this page and the date above.
